  We visited as as a family of 6 for a handling experience for a 12 year old's birthday and had a brilliant time. David and Helen were very friendly and accommodating and their wealth of knowledge was fascinating. We saw, stroked and held a wide variety of snakes, geckos, and skinks, all of which were calm, friendly and safe to handle, the whole experience was very inclusive and hands-on, even for our youngest toddler. Very clean facilities and the animals were clearly healthy and well-kept. A much better insight and world of reptiles than you might experience elsewhere as the knowledge and devotion was clear to see. Would recommend. Many thanks to DJL Exotics.

  What a wonderful place! We booked a group booking for my reptile mad daughter’s birthday!
We were greeted by Dave and Helen who were such wonderful hosts and had a wealth of knowledge about all of the lovely species. I would highly recommend DHL exotics to anyone, they were fantastic with the members of our party who were a little scared too.

  I live very near to Dave and Helen, owners of DJL Exotics and they were very happy for me to visit with my young granddaughter for an animal experience. As she is just 4, I thought our visit might be quite short but Dave and Helen gave up an hour and a half of their time and we were both treated to an amazing hands on experience! I certainly learnt a lot and my granddaughter couldn't wait to tell mummy and daddy. The couple are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and responded to our questions appropriately. The animals are well cared for, handled regularly and most have a fascinating story regarding their personality and preferences for people. I have since looked at their website and blog which are excellent. It was an amazing session which I can recommend.

  We have just bought our first leopard gecko from Helen & David. Their website is full of helpful advice and guidance, and on top of that they have answered questions any quickly!
They are really knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do!

  Got my Kenyan Sand Boa from DJL and honestly I'm super impressed with their service and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy a KSB. Even months after the purchase David was happy to answer a silly question about KSB behaviour during feeding. Their customer service is second to none.   Thoroughly impressed and happy with Helen and David's service! Got my first little gecko (now named Loki) last week who was delivered to me Via Courier. Got here super chill and in amazing health. He's still settling in a bit but he has gotten used to me and is eating well. He's a little feisty boy and a mischievous one aswell. Both Helen and David were super helpful in giving me loads of info about him and organising a courier for him to be delivered to me. Would highly reccomend DJLExotics! Thank you so much
