Join us for exclusive animal experiences which are fun, educational and memorable. Meet our amazing reptiles for hands-on encounters with lizards, snakes and insects from around the world. Get to know their unique personalities and how we take care of them at our mini zoo. Most of the species of animal you will spend time with make great pets and are suitable to be held and interact with.
Have you wondered what a snake feels like? How many teeth do leopard geckos have? And how many legs do millipedes have? Come and find out about reptiles and insects at one of our interactive animal encounters at our reptile facility in Essex, UK.
Our reptiles usually only come out at our animal experiences. You can choose the reptiles you meet, and there’s plenty of time to ask questions.
We offer private sessions you can book in advance. You can check the available days and times through our booking form. Book online or contact us directly! Your reptile experience is led by experienced reptile keepers David & Helen Lowbridge at our 5* licensed facility.

Are animal experiences suitable for everyone?
Our animal experiences are suitable for all ages. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there handwashing facilities available?
Handwashing facilities are available, as well as hand gel.
Can we consume food and drink during an animal experience?
No food or drink can be consumed on the premises. For the health of both participants and the animals, we ask that no food or drink is brought onto the facility.
